This coming of age drama explores teen angst and friendship from a multi-cultural perspective as three high school girls, who are best friends from different social levels, spend a weekend at a college campus competing for three coveted college scholarships. I have never seen this version but I love the original. I remember watching it on HBO when it came out in 95. I hope it comes out on DVD or at least a VHS will somehow appear on Amazon.
